  1. The students of the school will stand together in the shape of an open square, on which the students will stand on three sides and in the middle of the fourth arm there will be a flag bar. Will stand three steps behind the flag pole.
  2. Students will stand in groups of 10 – 10 in class order. These teams will stay one after the other. The head student of the class will stand to the right of the first row of his class and the class teacher will stand three steps behind the last row of his class towards the middle. The classes will stand in the shape of a square in such a way that the highest class is on the right and then other classes come in descending order.
  3. There should be a gap of at least one step (30 inches) between each row, and a similar gap between each class.
  1. When each class is ready, the class leader or monitor will go ahead and greet the school’s chosen student leader. When all the classes are ready, the student leader of the school will approach the headmaster and greet him. The headmaster will answer the salutation and after that the flag will be hoisted. The student leader of the school can assist in the flag hoisting.
  2. The weight of the parade rests on the student leader of the school. Just before the flag is hoisted, he will order the parade to be alert and will order to greet when the flag is waved. The parade will remain in the salutation position for some time and then on getting permission will come to the alert position.
  3. The national anthem will be followed by the flag salutation. During the national anthem, the parade will be in a very careful state.
  4. If the oath has to be taken, it will be taken after the national anthem. The parade will be in a careful state at the time of taking the oath. The Principal will formally administer the oath and the assembly will repeat the oath with him.
  5. While taking the oath of allegiance to the national flag in schools, the following will be done –
    1. Everyone standing with folded hands will repeat the following oath –
      • “I take an oath of allegiance to the national flag and to the democratic republic of which this flag represents.”
      • “I take an oath of allegiance to the National flag and to the democratic republic of which this flag represents.”
